Resources
We recently held an event entitled Dialogue, where organisations got together to share experiences, challenges and opportunities for building community engagement and local engagement. Here you can download interviews with the event speakers and resources to help you plan community engagement work.
Dialogue was the first event in Audiences South West's new CPD programme. We believe connecting with local people is key to ensuring arts organisations are accessible, relevant and engaging for their local audiences. Arts organisations play a vital role in their local communities by providing inspiring opportunities for participation and learning. By listening to local people and building a two-way dialogue, organisations are able to enhance their understanding of new and different audiences, demonstrate their value as facilitators of learning and creative inspiration and be responsive to local needs and issues.
