What we do

Launched in 2000, Audiences South West was set up to help cultural organisations and representatives of artist networks wishing to broaden and develop their audiences. By recognising that every organisation has individual demands and aspirations we seek to find the right solution for your organisation’s needs, and crucially, within the resources available to you. This could range from practical advice on a one to one basis to co-ordinating region-wide strategic initiatives.

Working in partnership with other regional bodies, the agency develops marketing and audience development initiatives that respond to the strategic objectives of local authorities and arts organisations.

What do we mean by audience development?

Whilst marketing is concerned with size, audience development is about range.
